BDO in the British Virgin Islands Expands its Insolvency & Restructuring Practice

BDO in the British Virgin Islands is pleased to announce that John N. Greenwood has joined the Firm as a Director and Head of Insolvency & Restructuring to strengthen its insolvency and restructuring, fraud and asset recovery services.

John has more than 30 years of experience as a lawyer specialising in banking and finance, insolvency, restructuring, fraud investigation and asset tracing, of which 20 years has been spent offshore in the British Virgin Islands, Cayman, Bermuda and Jersey.

In addition to being a licensed insolvency practitioner, John is also a lawyer qualified in England and Wales, British Virgin Islands, Anguilla, Ireland and Bermuda. He is qualified as a TEP (trust and estates practitioner), a qualification he has used to successfully challenge transfers of assets into trust structures.

During his long career, he has taken several appointments as Chief Restructuring Officer to distressed hedge and private equity funds.
